Take a trip back in time, discover the old winemaking traditions, that still remain in place today and make it an obvious choice for UWH designation. Walk through its vineyards and taste their exclusive wines. Discover with us the unique gastronomy of Pico ́s island, as well as its wines, born of the volcanic rock. Along the day, delight yourself with singular tastes and wines, while knowing the traditions and culture of the Island, traveling through an incredible landscape, a UNESCO world heritage since 2004.

Itinerary:

10 AM: Madalena do Pico – departure

Stop at Cachorro place. Guided visit to the Lajido de Santa Luzia.

1 PM: Regional Lunch

Criação Velha – guided visit to the protected landscape of the vineyard (South Zone). Pico wine tasting with guided visit to the wine company

6 PM: Madalena do Pico – arrival

Highlights: Madalena do Pico, Cachorro place, Lajido de Santa Luzia, Criação Velha.

Includes: a guide, transportation by all-terrain vehicle, regional lunch, museum tickets, wine and food testing, insurance, children’s car chairs, travel photos. Optional: hotel pick-up and drop-off (70 Euro). Start from meeting point. Minimum 2 people.
