Sailing south along the Paxos coast we will reach the famous Blue Caves. The boat slows so that you can take photos and marvel at this wonder of nature. Legend says that this is where Poseidon hid his lover Amphitrite to keep her safe. The tour continues on to Antipaxos. Few places are blessed with such tranquility and here you can just sit back and relax or dive into the crystal clear waters for a reviving swim. The last stop is the natural harbor of Gaios, the capital town of Paxos. Recently the island has become known as a millionaires paradise, a hideaway for the rich and famous. The bustling little town has plenty of boutique shops, bars and restaurants. This is a perfect place to have lunch in one of the tavernas dotted along the harbor and later shop for unusual souvenirs, many handmade by the islanders themselves.
