Chrisi island or the Golden Island has become one of the main Cretan highlights. This is a small, uninhabited island, lying in the Libyan Sea near the southernmost city in Europe Ierapetra. Island of Chrisi is known for its beautiful sandy beaches, untouched nature, unique and the only cedar forest in Europe. On the island, you can swim and sunbathe, enjoying the purity of seawater and the richness of the underwater world all day long! There are some places, where the beach consists of myriads of tiny seashells.

Our tour begins when a comfortable tourist bus picks you up from your hotel and heads south to Ierapetra, a beautiful town on the Libyan Sea. Driving to the South, you will be able to enjoy the beautiful Cretan mountain views, you will see authentic Cretan villages, immersed in olive groves. Drive along the beautiful coast of Mirabello Bay.

Upon arrival in Ierapetra, we will walk along the beautiful promenade of the city to the port, where we will board our tourist boat.After one hour of sea trip through the blue sea, we will arrive at the island of Chrisi. You will have plenty of time to swim and enjoy the unusual nature of this island.

You may find on the island sunbeds and umbrellas, a bar on the island, as well as toilets on board the ship, which will be at the pier of the island all the time.

Whoever gets tired of lying and swimming can walk around the island, see centuries-old cedars, visit archaeological excavations on the western coast of the island.The Libyan Sea around the island of Chrissi is rich in different types of fish, so we recommend that everyone who loves snorkeling take a mask and snorkel with them. At the appointed time in the evening, our boat departs from Chrissi and heads back to Ierapetra.
